I Didn't Know...

...inspired by and for my dear friend CJ

 

Vacuum waiting to be emptied, 
	 
   sitting in the hallway,
			
   hose meandering, snakelike on the floor...
			
Kitty wanders out of bedroom 
	 
   stops midway in the hallway -
			
   distracted, I stumble and nudge the hose.
			
Suddenly I am staring into wide feline eyes
	
   deep within a huge puffy furball
		 
   with legs and tail wildly splayed
		 
   no transition from floor to in front of my face -
		 
		 
Gee... I didn't know cats could teleport!
