It seems I made someone out there a bit nervous...
Since creating my web site on March 7th, 1997, I have been methodically detailing in my biography the abuse to which I and my siblings were subjected as children. In February 1998, I added three more sections - which not only described what had been done to us by the cult, but also described what the cult believed, how they trained and conditioned us, and how they recruited potential members.
The three sections are:
- The Cult - Induction
How and why I was selected for training.
- The Cult - The Training Begins
The Beliefs of "The Family"
- The Cult: "Nature" Worship
Nature worship - and candidate screening
Interesting that I got the phone call documented below within three days of posting the above three sections to my web site.
February 23rd, 1998
Our phone rang at 6:30 AM - a very articulate female voice said only two words and then hung up:
"White Rose"At first, I thought "crank call" - but my wife said it might be a very intentional message, and that I should ask the RA survivor community if the term "White Rose" had any specific meaning.
It does. It is a very explicit cult warning and threat:
"It means `Do not say anything more. We know where you are.' Their next step will be a stronger warning, like killing your dogs. Watch your back!"
"She was telling you `You've said too much, gone too far.' It's a definite warning not to reveal anything more about the cult, to stop now before you get stopped."
"Oh God, protect yourself. They're telling you `Shut up, don't say anything more, we're watching you and can stop you.' CYA!"
I guess I really am breaking the Silence, and it seems I am breaking some Rules too.
Regardless, I and my mother are going to keep doing what we need to do. Exposing them.
February 26th, 1998 Two
self-proclaimed Satanists signed my guestbook; the first one (Azazel) was honest enough to leave his email address and URL; the second one (Abadon) claimed to have been referred by the first, and like any coward hiding behind anonymity, didn't leave his or her email address or URL.
Now, I'm pretty certain that it is just two spammers trying to get a rise out of me; however, it tells me that I am doing the right thing by exposing the methodologies, practices, and beliefs of the cult.
Simply said, they don't like exposure - it seems to be making some of them nervous.
Too bad.
I've left both entries in my guestbook.
