Variations on a Theme
This pic of me and Mou pretty much represents my day-to-day appearance, and was taken by and is Copyright © by our dear friend teal, who happens to be an excellent photographer.
This particular pic was taken outside of the Rosicrucian Museum in San Jose sometime in 1998.
This one is a special present to my son, Shane... Mou and I were going to Disneyland, and Shane asked me to get a pic of myself with Goofy for him...
It's very representative of me when I'm not at work and not working in the yard or house!
This one was taken shortly after my brother Danny's wedding; all of us grooms-men wore black Wranglers and the deep purple shirts.
This is also very representative of how I like to dress when going out for a casual day, say like Pier 39 in San Francisco.
This picture was taken on October 30th, 1998, when I was getting ready to shock the people at work as part of my Halloween costume...
Mou and I noticed that without my beard and moustache, the Choctaw/Cherokee heritage is quite evident...
The next picture shows what I wore to work for Halloween of 1998...
Believe it or not, this was my 1998 halloween costume! No one at work had ever seen me without my beard and moustache, nor had they ever seen me in a suit.
To put it mildly, everyone was stunned; one of the BIG bosses who knew me quite well did not even recognize me until he looked at my badge.
The number of double-takes I got that day was amazing; and made this costume the most successful one I've ever tried (grinning!.)
Now - don't get any ideas; I am most definitely NOT comfortable dressed like this, and I'm back to the beard, moustache, and casual clothes!
